"KEY W.T. 8 AMP No.2 MKII" MORSE CODE TELEGRAPH KEYER – WWII?

Poor condition small telegraph keyer, perhaps WWII military? Has
“KEY W.T. 8 AMP No.2 MKII” engraved in the base. Base is broken in at least two places, knob is broken in half and looks to be poorly glued on, looks to be missing some screws and is generally in poor condition.
Due to it’s obvious condition this is being sold as-is, no return.
